You are in proportion, wear the same size top and bottom and are slender with lack of curve.

The Princess of Wales is a slender athletic and chooses styles to accentuate her slender frame yet also gives her shape - look at the exaggerated shoulder, belted style and pleats to the bottom half of this dress which gives her shape and movement.

All over print maintains your natural proportion and if petite aim for a small, even print, such as a polka dots, small even stripes, small florals, checks etc. The larger the print the more it will dominate your frame.

Strawberry Body Shape

Also known as Inverted Triangle, all the curve sits in the top half with a large bust, often square shoulders tapering down to narrow hips and slender, athletic legs.

Keeping the top half simple and adding drama, shape, print and colour to the bottom half will balance the frame.

1. Party - River Island

Carrying all the weight and curve in your top half with little to no waist definition. Often you are better with a low to mid rise trouser or skirt.

Fabrics which glide rather than cling are wonderful for you and the empire line dress was made for your body shape.

Party - Rixo feather dress

This is basically Melissa Mcarthy's outfit in a shorter style with feathers! An empire line style meaning the gather is under the bustline and so will glide beautifully over the stomach area enabling your wonderful assets your legs and slender ankles to shine.

The v-neck gives your bust some space and elongates your frame and the feathers not only looks beautiful it also balances out your frame. And with the longer sleeve there it's practical and balances out the legs on show!

Day - Anthropologie Dress

This is such a lovely shape for lots of body shapes including Apple Body Shapes as it's a v-neck shape which gives you space for your bust. Plus it's an empire line which means it draws you in underneath the bust giving you the illusion of a waist and gives you length, great if you are petite!
